Out of college, I found myself working in a vocational rehabilitation program for adults with chronic mental illness. It was challenging, often overwhelming, but also deeply rewarding. That experience opened my eyes to the power of support and connection, and I knew I had found my calling.
After earning my degree from Columbia University in 2006, I worked with diverse groups—from middle school students to survivors of domestic violence. My path eventually led me to specialize in postpartum mood disorders and eating disorders, areas where I felt I could make a profound impact.
I focus on creating a safe space where clients can explore their struggles and discover their strengths. Whether I'm guiding new parents through postpartum challenges or helping individuals recover from trauma, my goal is always to foster growth and healing through authentic connection.
I am a psychotherapist with nearly 20 years of experience in social work, having graduated Columia University School of Social work in 2006. Over the course of my career, I have worked with a diverse clientele from various backgrounds and life experiences.
My employment experiences have included working with individuals from insular communities who sought to lead self-determined lives. I worked at an NYU Medical Center Outpatient Mental Health Clinic for many years providing psychotherapy to those struggling with mood disorders, adjustment disorders, ADHD, trauma, eating disorders, substance abuse histories and psychosis. After my work at the hospital, I continued my studies at the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia where I earned a certificate to work with those battling eating disorders. I then worked at an eating disorder treatment center where I provide individual and group therapy as well as meal supports to adolescents and adults with eating disorders.
Most recently I supervised social workers working with NYC youth in a program designed to educate youth about relationships and prevent relationship abuse while also maintaining a private practice
